- 2011 In-Kind Volunteer Hours
This report lists the number of volunteer hours by type of work. Over 11,000 hours valued at $211,000 were donated to the UDRC.
- Upper Deschutes River Sweep
Fall 2012
The River Sweep is a partnership between the UDRC and the statewide organization SOLV. SOLV reported that in the year 2011 volunteers statewide removed an estimated 142,231 pounds of trash and recyclables and 57,685 pounds of invasive plants from beaches and rivers in Oregon. The UDRC looks forward to partnering again with SOLV in the fall of 2012 for the 6th Annual Upper Deschutes River Sweep to make it even better.
Details on the fall 2012 river sweep project will be available in early August 2012. Allan Flood is the UDRC’s project coordinator. The river sweep includes the Upper and Little Deschutes Rivers, Spring River and Fall River.
